Transportation and logistics have a real environmental footprint. We know that — and we've made it our business to shrink it. NuQuest has been building sustainability into our daily operations across waste management, freight consolidation, and responsible end-of-life asset recovery.

Sustainability is a journey, not a destination. These are our current numbers — honest, documented, and a starting point we're committed to building on. We're putting systems in place now so we can track progress, quantify our impact, and continue to improve over time.
Waste Management
Across our warehouse and office facilities, we separate recyclables, cardboard, general waste, wood, and metal. Our metal stream is sent to a certified recycler for correct disposal. All streams are tracked by weight and reported quarterly.

Freight Consolidation
Instead of running multiple partial loads cross-country, NuQuest combines compatible shipments heading in the same direction — reducing the number of trips, cutting fuel consumption, and lowering CO₂ emissions for every client on that load. This is built into how we route, every day.

E-Waste & Asset Recovery
NuQuest has been moving end-of-life medical and commercial equipment for clients across Canada since 2022. Now, in partnership with Circle³ Sustainability, Circle³ Sustainability, we've formalized that into a certified asset recovery program — with documented destruction, CO₂ savings reporting, and value recovery where possible.

- 383 shipments across 10 Canadian provinces

- Available in 10+ cities across Canada
Energy Tracking
We're currently establishing energy baselines across our warehouse and office facilities — tracking electricity, natural gas, and diesel consumption. Setting this baseline is the first step toward meaningful reduction targets.
